Image and Attachment PII Scanning and Removal

Relate now applies PII rules to images and document attachments, not just message text. Using optical character recognition (OCR), the system reads text inside images, screenshots, and PDFs and runs it through the same lexicon and rules already applied to written messages. When sensitive personally identifiable information (PII) is detected, such as a driver's license or Social Security card, the attachment is automatically removed from the conversation and replaced with a notice, while the original content is retained in the compliance archive.
