You can now star conversations in Relate on Yext Mobile and Yext for Intune on iOS devices, allowing you to quickly find important conversation threads. Previously, this functionality was only available on Yext Desktop.

To star or unstar a conversation, tap the star icon to the left of the conversation. You can also filter for starred conversations. Conversations that were previously starred on Yext Desktop will appear here as well. 

To get this feature, update to the latest version of Yext or Yext for Intune on a supported iOS device. This feature will be supported for Android in a later release.

Suggested video posts are now available to schedule and publish using the Hearsay Mobile and Hearsay for Intune apps. Video is the most engaging type of Social content and the most time-consuming to create, so allowing videos to be published on Mobile enables organizations to unlock their full value.

Available suggested video posts appear on the Posts tab and can be published like any other post. When reviewing a suggested video post, tap the video thumbnail for a full screen preview of the video and tap on the video to play or pause. Video previews can also be played within the library by tapping on the video within the suggested post.

The Hearsay Mobile settings have been updated with a more modern look and a simplified layout. These updates are cosmetic only and don’t include any functionality or navigational changes. Access the settings from the Home page by tapping the gear icon in the upper right of the screen. 

To get the new settings page, update to the latest version of Hearsay Mobile or Hearsay for Intune on a supported iOS or Android device.

Out of Office Responses are now available for Android mobile devices

The Out of Office Automatic Response feature for Relate is now available for Hearsay Mobile and Hearsay for Intune Android users. With Out of Office Responses, users can manage communications and maintain relationships with contacts during absences. 

To set your Out of Office Response: 

1. On the Home screen, tap Settings, then Out of Office. 
2. Toggle the Automatic Replies setting to On. 
3. Optional Check the box to send all Relate calls to voicemail.
4. Write an out of office message, then tap Save.

When an Out of Office Response is enabled, a banner appears on your screen to inform you automatic replies are turned on. To end your Out of Office Responses, tap End out of office in the banner. 

To get out of office replies, update to the latest version of Hearsay Mobile or Hearsay for Intune on a supported Android device. 

The Post Library is now called Posts on Android mobile devices

To provide a better user experience on smaller mobile screens and to help with language translations, the Post Library tab has been changed to just Posts in the Hearsay Mobile and Hearsay for Intune apps for Android devices.

To see the new Posts label, update to the latest version of Hearsay Mobile or Hearsay for Intune on a supported Android device.

Out of Office Responses are now available for iOS mobile devices

The upcoming iOS 18 release includes Apple Intelligence Writing Tools, which is an AI writing assist feature that can potentially pose a compliance risk for organizational data. Organizations can now mitigate that risk by blocking users from accessing Apple Intelligence in the Hearsay for Intune app.

To configure Apple Intelligence access from the Intune admin portal, find the App protection policies page and update the setting Send Org Data to other apps to block writing tools.

A new Relate badge or label appears for contacts with Relate phone numbers on Hearsay Desktop and Mobile. This badge and label helps to quickly identify other Relate numbers. It is especially useful for making sure that internal business messages are sent to a contact’s Relate number, where the text can be archived from both sides, and not their personal number. 

A contact's primary phone number is also automatically set to their Relate number, if they have one.

This feature is off by default. To turn it on, send an email to support@hearsaycorp.com and include “Enable Relate Number Differentiation from the October 2024 Release” in the subject line. In the email, please add any relevant enablement details as well as any questions that you may have.

Hearsay Mobile Android users can now view, reschedule, edit, and filter for scheduled activities from their mobile devices on the new Timeline page. The Timeline helps users avoid scheduling conflicts and cadence issues for Social and Relate activities. Previously, the page was only available to iOS users. 

Access the Timeline from the Home screen by tapping the calendar icon. Then, scroll through the scheduled activities or filter for Posts, Campaign, or Scheduled Messages. Tap on a scheduled message or post to review, edit, or unschedule it.

Workspace Templates are now available on Hearsay’s iOS and Android mobile apps, expanding their availability beyond Hearsay Desktop. Workspace Templates are created by specific users or teams, and are only available within the workspace where they’re created. This feature enables creating personalized text message templates.

Users can only create and manage Workspace Templates in Hearsay Desktop. After they’re created, Workspace Templates become available in the Hearsay Mobile apps. To use Workspace Templates on mobile, in the message composer, tap + and select Use a Message Template. Workspace Templates display under My Templates. When a user selects a template, it’s pasted in the message composer, where they can edit, send, or schedule it.

This feature is off by default. To turn it on, send an email to support@hearsaycorp.com and include “Enable Workspace Templates” in the subject line. In the email, please add any relevant enablement details and any questions that you may have. After enablement, update to the latest version of Hearsay Mobile to access Workspace Templates.

Hearsay Mobile iOS users can now view, reschedule, edit, and filter for scheduled activities from their mobile devices on the new Timeline page. The Timeline helps users avoid scheduling conflicts and cadence issues. For example, a Social user can quickly check if any of their posts are scheduled to publish around the same time as a campaign post and adjust scheduling if needed. A Relate user can reschedule or cancel text reminders quickly and easily. 

Users with Relate and Social can see all their post, campaign post, and text message activities together in the Timeline. Relate only or Social only users only see activities associated with their product access.

To access the Timeline, tap the calendar icon on the Home page. Then, scroll through the scheduled activities or filter for Posts, Campaign or Scheduled Messages. Tap on a scheduled message or post to review, edit, or unschedule it.

The Timeline is not yet available on Android devices. Android users can still access scheduled posts and messages from the Conversations and Post Library tabs until the feature becomes available in a future release.
